Jesus did not come as a rival to the law of the Old Testament. He came to fulfill all the requirements of the law, explain how believers now live under grace, and to embody the purpose and meaning of the law. Today, Pastor Tom will explain Jesus’ role in helping believers understand their sin under the law. He summarized the moral intent of the entirety of the law to others, and to God as love. Truly, perfectly loving God and others fulfills the law of God. Only with the help of the Holy Spirit can we grow in our love and obedience.
