SPREADING HOPE

Our

Approach

Hope Bible Church embraces the call to worldwide evangelism in obedience to Christ’s commission for His Church by fulfilling the mandate that He has given to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20).  In response to this call, our missions ministry, Spreading Hope, has established four objectives: Partnering, Serving, Sending, and Expanding.

Partnering

We define our relationship with missionaries as a partnership, in that we intend to fully partner with them in ministry in every possible way, beyond mere financial support. To that end, we have intentionally limited the number of our missionaries in order to give more deliberate attention to developing and growing our partnerships with them.

Sending

Obedience to the mandate which Christ has given to His Church (Matthew 28:18-20) involves a response to the command to “go.” Spreading Hope provides opportunities for members to “go”  by developing opportunities for short-term missions teams to go out from our congregation, in conjunction with our missions partnerships.

Serving

The Body of Christ is a serving body with believers commanded to love one another in tangible ways using the gifts that Christ left for the building up of His Church. Spreading Hope serves the body in the area of missions by encouraging members to “think globally” and by providing opportunities for members to be practically involved in missions.

Expanding

By partnering with fewer missionaries, we are able to partner at a greater level, both spiritually and materially. We believe this approach provides the ability to learn and grow with our partners, maintain relationships and provide much-needed support, care, and accountability. We strongly support the work of global missions and are always seeking to advance the spread of the gospel through new missions endeavors.

Missions

Partners

We currently partner with 5 missionary families across the globe and send 1 short-term missions team each year.
