The Family Discipleship Ministry seeks to foster strong families within the church through biblical training, encouragement, and accountability.
Objectives:
For more information about the Family Discipleship Ministry, please contact Pastor Alan Plumley.
If you are expecting a child or want to be prepared for the possibility someday, we encourage you to take the following classes to equip you in your role as parents from a biblical perspective.
This ten-week class teaches many practical principles with topics such as Authority, Boundaries, and Routine; Feeding, Wake Time and Sleeping, and more.
This 18-week class introduces more biblical instruction and “how-to” training. Topics include Establishing a Biblical Mindset for Parenting, The Biblical Philosophy of Discipline and Instruction, and more.
Small Groups provide an opportunity for families to study the Bible together and get more connected with other members of the Church body through fellowship and prayer. Small Groups meet in members’ homes on various nights of the week. Hope Bible Church has several small groups with some oriented toward families and others toward adults only. If you would like to join a small group or have any additional questions about small groups at Hope, please contact Pastor Gabe Powell.
Hope Bible Church offers family counseling through the Hope Biblical Counseling Center. Biblical counselors are trained in the meaning and use of the Bible and biblical principles for counseling. We are committed to the position that Scripture provides the only authoritative guide for what we are to believe and how we are to live.
