When inside our building, proceed to the Children’s Ministry welcome desk where a team member will assist you in checking in your children.
It is our desire to instill into your children a high view of God and His Word through the use of doctrinally sound, biblical materials. It is our goal to teach your children how to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus and to live in a manner that is pleasing to the Lord. Our teachers are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide a safe, cheerful, and disciplined environment.
We use the Generations of Grace curriculum for children in Kindergarten – 6th grade. This curriculum also offers 5-day Family Devotions for each lesson, which introduces the students to the lesson that will be taught on the upcoming Sunday. These devotions are a great way to expose your children to the lesson six days out of the week.
If you have a baby or toddler, feel free to bring a diaper bag. We also provide stroller parking. For children over 2 years old, you don’t need to bring anything at all! We provide extra diapers, so don’t worry if you forget.
Safety and security are high priorities at Hope Bible Church. We have many policies and procedures in place to keep every child safe. All volunteers are screened via a background check, and security personnel are stationed throughout the Children’s Ministry area. We also take appropriate measures and protocols to address health viruses.
Check-in starts at 9:10 am, which provides time for you to check-in your child and arrive to your 9:30 am Growing Disciples class on time. Parents can begin to drop off children for the Worship Service at 10:40 am.
Parents are not able to stay in the Children’s Ministry classes for security reasons. However, parents can certainly come by to check on their children as they need.
Parents are able to provide their cell phone number at check-in. If your child needs a parent or there are disciplinary issues that require the assistance of a parent, the teacher will text the parent. Alternatively, we can also have ushers and/or security personnel locate parents in their class or the worship center.
We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. For more information about the Children’s Ministry, please contact Ravi Rastogi.
To see our children and youth come to know, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ, Adventure Club teaches kids from 3 years old through 6th grade systematic theology of the Bible. Topics cover the church, the Bible, and the end times (year 1), man, sin, and salvation (year 2), and the Trinity (year 3). This program offers a fun way to learn more about the Bible through memorizing verses, earning pins, playing games, and singing songs. Events take place on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm during the school year. Contact our Adventure Club team for more information.
