HopeAbility strives to reach the hearts of people with special needs and their families with the hope of the gospel through worship, discipleship, and evangelism. HopeAbility also strives to compassionately include all persons with differing abilities as being necessary and contributing members of the Church body as we worship and minister together to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But now God has the parts, each one of them in the body, as He desired. If they were all one part, where would the body be? But now are many parts, but one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again, the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” On the contrary, is much truer that the parts of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; And if one part the body, all the parts suffer with it; if a part is honored, all the parts rejoice with it.
1 Corinthians 12:18-22, 26
Families and caregivers often face difficult challenges caring for their loved ones with special needs. Many feel overwhelmed, stressed, and isolated. Families Supporting Families is a support group designed to mutually encourage families as they navigate life’s journey with the disability experience of their loved one. Drawing from biblical principles, this group offers encouragement, love, and hope.
The Companion/Pal Ministry provides one-on-one support for children and adults with special needs in participating in the life of the church body.
Companions assist adults as they participate in the Growing Disciple Classes and Sunday Worship Services. They also assist adults in Men’s and Women’s Ministry events as well as other church-wide activities.
Pals support children with special needs in Sunday School, Adventure Club, VBS, and other existing ministries. Pals provide friendship, role modeling, and a safe environment of belonging.
The Companion/Pal Ministry seeks to share the love of Christ not only to those with special needs, but also to parents and caregivers. This ministry provides respite to allow parents and caregivers to worship and participate within the church body.
Although adults with disabilities should be fully included in the life of the church, there are times when a person can benefit from interactions in a class designed for those who learn at a different pace or level. This class seeks to provide meaningful worship experiences through basic biblical and doctrinal instruction, learning activities, music, prayer, and fellowship.
