Name: Family Discipleship Ministry
Mission Statement: The Family Discipleship Ministry seeks to foster strong families within the church through Biblical training, encouragement, and accountability.
Objectives:
- To train every HBC family in Biblical principles of family discipleship
- To continually multiply the number of Family Discipleship Groups within the church
- To help all HBC parents to disciple their children in Christ-likeness in heart and action
- That our children would be a blessing to others, and would grow to disciple their own children in years to come even more effectively than we have discipled them
Activities, etc.:
- Parenting classes (Preparation for Parenting, Preparation for the Toddler Years, Family Discipleship Overview, Shepherding a Child’s Heart, etc.)
- Family Discipleship Groups (small flock groups for the whole family)
- Family counseling
