Name: Children's Ministry
Mission Statement: The purpose of the Children's Ministry at Hope Bible Church is to assist parents in fulfilling the scriptural admonition to train their children in a way that honors the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
Objectives:
- To provide curriculum that depicts a high view of God and an accurate Biblical portrayal of God and the Lord, Jesus Christ.
- To train and prepare younger children to join their parents in the adult worship service.
- To give those in the congregation who are gifted Teachers an opportunity to serve the body by teaching the children of Hope.
- To provide ongoing training to these Teachers and the Helpers.
- To provide a safe, cheerful, and nurturing environment.
- To discipline biblically when necessary.
- To communicate with parents about their children.
- To provide materials that enhance learning for the children.
- To equip children to eventually serve in the church.
- To equip children to evangelize the lost.
- To equip children for missions.
- To build relationships between Teachers and the children.
