Name: Care Ministry
Mission Statement: As an expression of Christ's love, to meet the various tangible needs of the people of HBC and the spiritual support associated with those needs, through the gifts, talents, and resources of the body of Christ at HBC.
Objectives:
- To gather accurate information concerning all genuine tangible needs of the congregation at HBC.
- To faithfully & promptly communicate those needs to the leadership & congregation.
- To train, equip, and mobilize care workers to meet those needs in a wise manner.
- To use those resources, to meet those needs at HBC in an orderly & systematic manner.
- To supplement the physical care of those in need with spiritual encouragement & accountability where needed to assure that those receiving assistance will be able to succeed in the future.
- To follow up on those who received help to make sure their needs were truly met and that, if the problem was caused by poor decisions, the wisdom learned would ensure no reoccurrences.
