Brandon was born and raised in Maryland, and became a believer at a very young age, having been raised in a Christian home. Music has been prominent in Brandon’s life from a very early age – he took piano lessons from the age of three all the way through high school, and he was an active participant in several high school musicals as well as the music ministry at his family’s church. Brandon became familiar with Hope Bible Church through the Youth Bible Study beginning around 2000, where he met his wife Emilee. He became a member of Hope Bible Church around 2003, and quickly got involved in the music ministry, leading hymns and playing keyboard accompaniment for praise choruses. Shortly after the formation of the HBC Choir, Brandon stepped forward to serve as the choir director.
Brandon and Emilee were married in November 2005, and currently have three children: Liam, Liana and Larissa. Today, Brandon oversees the Special Music Ministry, including the two choirs, vocal ensembles, and soloists, and he also coordinates schedules for singer/accompanist rotations, while continuing to serve as an accompanist on piano and worship leader. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland College Park in 2000, and he currently works as the director of competitive analysis for a private consulting firm.
